James Griffin is a freelance miniature sculptor and painter, and writer.  He has worked for a number of companies and individuals on various projects and commissions, including Colonial Games and Games Workshop.  He is currently working on a modern gothic interpretation of a classic piece of literature, named ‘Malice in Wonderland’ that unites his skills in these three areas for the first time.

He has won numerous competitions, and his collection of trophies includes two Golden Demons, and a Salute award.  In terms of his writing, he has written fiction and non-fiction for a variety of publications including White Dwarf.

He is selective in the commissions he undertakes, but is willing to consider offers for individual commissions, or full time work.  He is also available for painting and sculpting consultation or tutorial.  OFSTED (2009) awarded him a grade 1 ‘outstanding’ for his teaching work, and he has experience facilitating on a one to one basis, with small groups and in lecture situations.

His work is showcased on this site, and he can be contacted by clicking here.
