no problem Underbheit. I’ve discussed this over on coolminiornot.com before, but the concept is really very simple, I started off a black undercoat, and then painted in long fast thin lines a very dark brown over that. I then kept layering this up through brown, into dark and medium reds, and then I added a little white to it to create a pinky colour, and added one final highlight. The trick to getting the striated flesh is simply to use a strong, fast, confident brush stroke, and to thin your paints enough that if you don’t quite get it right, you can either wipe it off and start again, or you can simply carry on painting and treat the last layer as a glaze to smooth the previous layers together. Then I added final white highlights, and black lowlights, and volia! I hope that helps, if there is anything there you aren’t getting, please feel free to get in contact and I’ll do my best to explain what i am saying more clearly.
