Henchman 1 – Weapons of Mass Frustration

Hey,

I hope you like his weapons :)   I personally hate making weapons, but I’m really pleased with this one.  I carved it out of plasticard, attached a handle and a plasticard tsuba (pommel), and greenstuffed the details on.  I’ll have to go back yet and tidy some of it up, as well as sculpt the handle wrapping, but I’m mightily pleased with the way it is working so far!  The scabbard is simply a piece of squashed tube with a layer of putty over the top to add smoothness and overlaid patterning.  I’ve also done the skeleton of the hands, and the shoes.  Now I can very much see the end of the tunnel with him which is nice, I think he’s one of my favourites so far.  I’d love to know what you think, good or bad, so that I can improve and figure out where I’m hitting the spot.  Thanks so much,
